Here it is! This is my most often request for an online class -- the cute, Lovable Kids that will be adored for Valentine's Day, kids' birthdays, Teacher Appreciation Day, Mother's Day -- just about any occasion!
What is any cuter than adorable, sweet, and innocent kids? Well, maybe I’m just partial to being an upcoming grandma. (Yaay!) These Lovables are designed in a way where you can make the same body, but just alter them to your child’s hairstyle and skin tone. They’re perfect for so many occasions or a “just because I love you.”
With the attached designs, these cookies become just like a coloring book! I'll take you step by step through the process in order to make these cookies in the most efficient manner also. Just put the video on pause until you finish each section, and that way you can do them right along with me.
I’m going to show you all my tips and tricks, icing consistency for this set, and my skin tone colors. We will make 6 cookies with three sets of age groups -- all with just. 2 cutters! We have the Chunky Toddler (about 2 to 4-year-old kids); the 5 to 6-ish-year-old; and the 7 to 12-year-old. This 1-hour-30-minute pre-recorded video is also orchestrated to have the least amount of times putting our cookies in the dehydrator, while still striving to keep those puffy-looking cookies.
You don't need any special tools outside of the usual icing, icing bags, food colors, base cookies, food color markers (optional), fan or dehydrator, and PME 4 MM black edible pearls. (If you don't have those, you can just use black icing.) Knowledge of a way to project cookies is needed, and a projector will be very helpful items to have if you don't want to freehand.
There is no skill level to this online class, because I have been AMAZED during my home classes with what all ages and skill levels have been able to do.
WHAT IS TAUGHT: You will learn the colors & icing consistency I use; helpful tips on skin tones; formulas for making different icing skin tones; the order of making these cookies to complete them as quickly and efficiently as we can; all the small details that make your cookies stand out; creating icing hair; using black edible pearls to make simple yet sweet eyes; piping tiny cutesy flowers and rose bouquets that pop; creating little hands and fingers; soft layering, and much more.
WHAT IS INCLUDED: You will receive a 7-page pdf paper to download with Pictures of these cookies, the 2 Templates for the cutters if you rather cut your cookies out, 6 different Template Girl and Boy Designs, my Icing Skin Tone Formula; Tips on Achieving the Right Icing Consistency for this class; a Video Index so you can jump right to the spot you need, and a Personal Link to watch the Video through Vimeo at your leisure and as many times as you want for as long as you want.
