"You're never too old to be young."
~ Snow White
Join me as we enter a whole new world and whip up a tale as old as time. No matter the amount of time you have, the colors you use, or your skill level, I'm going to show you how you can make adorable character cookies by taking advantage of one all-around simplistic cookie cutter design, capitalizing on each Princesses' certain features, and using icing transfers for a time-saving, no-hassle process.
WHAT IS TAUGHT:
In this 1 1/2 hour pre-recorded video, we will make the 8 Princesses shown, as well as a bonus of the Royal Princess and her Prince.
Extra bonus: Not shown, I added 3 more popular Princess graphic template designs plus a Communion Girl, for a total of 12 Princesses, 1 Prince, 1 Communion Girl/Quinceanera or Latina girl.
Extra, Extra bonus: Turn the cookie cutter upside down, and I added graphic template designs (not shown) for 2 chunky long-stem flowers and a flower baby rattle! Don't you just love getting a lot of uses out of your cutters?
We will work from 2 sheets of Royal Icing Transfers that make your cookies stand out. You can also mix and match these with the Lovable Kids cutters and Lovable Nutcracker Kids cutters and designs as well! (See those online classes).
In this class I give you my full sheet of 14 different icing skin color concoctions so you can make just what you need; I'll show you how to make the cute faces in a no-hassle, less stress way of putting on eyes and smiles; how to make 10 different hairstyles, 9 different dresses, a wet-on-wet mermaid tail, and a prince outfit; we will build up for puff and a 3-D look; make stable transfers; and the order of making this set in order to complete them as efficiently as we can. You can cookie right along with me, putting me on pause until you finish each section.
NOTE: My classes now come with Closed Captioning!
Since these designs can be used with whichever colors you choose or have on hand, I did not include precisely which colors and quantities to use for the icing. I do include tips on achieving certain must-have colors, however.
WHAT IS INCLUDED:
This class is more of a beginner-intermediate class -- "Intermediate" because I've included quite a bundle of different cookies and techniques, and "Beginner" because with the step-by-step instruction, a beginner who already knows how to make icing and fill an icing bag will be able to complete these cookies!
You will receive a 13-page pdf paper with a Picture of these cookies, the needed Icing Transfer Templates (plus lots of bonuses) for making the accessories, Tips on Achieving the Right Icing Consistencies, a Supplies List with quicklinks for making your edible art a success, a Quick Index so you can jump right to a certain spot in the video, and the Cookie Designs and Projector Design Outlines (plus a quick how-to video on getting designs on cookies), and Cookie Cutter Templates if you choose not to buy the cutter(s). Note that the mermaid cutter can be cut out of the Princess cutter if you'd like. You'll also receive a Personal Link to watch the video through a free platform called Vimeo at your leisure and as many times as you want for as long as you want without having to download a huge file to bog down your computer.
*Be sure to print off the pdf document link or save the pdf to your computer file. It will come in your confirmation download with your confirmation (and the same pdf comes with your follow-up e-mail.) Unfortunately, the website automatically erases both after one month, and that's where your password and handouts are located! That way you can always access the video through a push of a button.
If you'd like the Princess cookie cutters for this class, you can get them at www.bobbiscutters.com! She also carries the Prince and Mermaid, the Lovable Kids, and Lovable Nutcracker cutters that you can mix and match with the Princess cutter.
NOTE:
This class does not come with the cookies or icing. You will have to have the cookies and icing premade before we start. Digital product only.
In this class I do not give out my cookie recipe or icing recipe. I feel those are processes with a lot of information and deserve their own class. They are found on my Royal Icing Foundations Course and Cookie Dough Foundations Course, or you can use your own recipes. A list of common helpful supplies is included in the pdf.
Thank you for supporting my small business! Go bake life sweet!
